Identity vs.Reputation

Identity is the story we tell ourselves about ourselves — our identity is the person we think we are. While there are some key insights in how we perceive ourselves, we can be wrong. We can either have an inflated idea of our own talent or we might be hard on ourselves.

Reputation  is what everyone else thinks of us.  It’s based on our overt behaviors and social skills. Our reputation is the person other people think you are, and research shows that your success in the workplace is dependent on your reputation.   Hogan provides this level of reputational insight.

The Hogan Suite of Assessments

The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI), describes how we relate to others when we are at our best.
